Paul James

I was born in Belfast now living in Rush Co.Dublin. I became very interested in music when I was 10yrs old. I grew up with the Beatles,Rolling Stones and all the sixties artists etc.I saw the Beatles live in The Kings Hall in Belfast 1964 and that memory has never left me as does the time i went to see Radio Caroline(The Boat) on a day trip in the hope of becoming a DJ(my Mother had other ideas) and as a result I had a great time doing Pirate Radio in Belfast(those were the days) and Hospital Radio in the Mater Hospital in Belfast.I was resident DJ in the Royal Ascot in Carryduff during the Disco days for 10yrs

Being involved in St.Ita's Hospital Radio has given me the chance to put something back into the community and I will always be very grateful for that.
