Paraig Londra
My name is Paraig Londra, and I’m originally from Limerick. I’ve been passionate about music and radio since the late 1970s, having started my journey in broadcasting in 1977 with RTÉ Community Radio during Civic Week in Limerick. That experience sparked a lifelong love for radio, which led me to work with numerous stations over the years.
Since 1979, I’ve gained experience across a wide range of platforms, including commercial, community, hospital, and pirate radio stations such as Tipperary Mid-West Radio, Clare FM, Big L in Limerick, and many more. Alongside my radio work, I’ve also been active as a mobile and party DJ—something I still enjoy doing today.
To further develop my skills, I completed a Level 6 Radio Broadcasting course in Limerick between 2012 and 2013, a comprehensive 12-month program that allowed me to modernize and refine my on-air technique and production abilities.
Today, I’m proud to be part of HospitalRadio.ie, where I continue to share my love for music—especially classic hits, golden memories, and timeless tracks from the "solid gold" era. Radio has been a constant in my life, and I’m excited to keep connecting with listeners through the power of music.
Thank you for tuning in—I look forward to sharing great music with you.
